Secure telehealth statewide
Online Therapy in California
Warm, evidence-based, culturally informed care for individuals and couples — from wherever you feel most yourself.
Online therapy for California residents means meeting a licensed therapist over secure, encrypted video — from home, work, or anywhere in the state. At Salonia Singh Therapy and Associates, our virtual sessions offer the same warm, 50-minute, evidence-based, culturally informed care we provide in our West Los Angeles and Pasadena offices, matched to the right clinician for you.
For many people, seeing a therapist online removes the barriers that once made care feel out of reach: long commutes, few local providers, or a schedule with little room to spare. Whether you prefer telehealth full time or a mix of virtual and in-person, all you need is a private space and a stable connection.

We work with individuals and couples across California who want secure virtual sessions with a therapist who understands their world. Many of the people we support are high-achieving South Asian, BIPOC, and immigrant professionals.
Individuals
Anxiety, depression, burnout, imposter syndrome, people-pleasing, self-esteem, childhood trauma, and career or identity transitions.
Couples
Communication, conflict, trust, and reconnection, with clinicians trained in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Culturally informed care
Space for family, faith, migration, and bicultural identity, so you do not have to translate your world for your therapist.
How online therapy works with us
You start with a free consultation, we learn a little about what you are navigating, and we match you with a clinician on our team whose training and style fit your needs. From there, sessions run 50 minutes over a secure, HIPAA-appropriate video platform. Because our clinicians are licensed in California, we can see clients located anywhere in the state at the time of the session, from San Diego to the Bay Area to the Central Valley.
Our approach is warm but direct, and always evidence-based. Clinicians draw on methods including EMDR, the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, adapted thoughtfully to a virtual setting. Research on telehealth in the mental-health field generally finds that virtual therapy can be as effective as in-person care for many common concerns.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to live in a specific city to use your telehealth?
No. Because our clinicians are licensed in California, we can offer secure online therapy to anyone located anywhere in the state during the session, from Los Angeles and Pasadena to more rural counties. You only need a private space and a stable internet connection.
How long are sessions and how do I start?
Sessions are 50 minutes, the same as our in-person appointments. To begin, book a free consultation through our contact page. We will learn a little about what you are looking for and match you with a clinician whose training and style fit your needs.
Is telehealth private and secure?
Yes. Sessions take place over a secure, encrypted video platform appropriate for health information, and you receive a private link for each appointment. We recommend joining from a quiet, private space where you will not be overheard, so you can speak freely.
Is online therapy as effective as meeting in person?
For many common concerns — anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and burnout — research on telehealth generally finds that virtual sessions can be about as effective as in-person care. What matters most is the quality of your relationship with your therapist and showing up consistently. Some higher-risk situations may still be better served in person, and we will always be honest with you about what level of care fits your needs best.
Whenever you are ready, we are here to help you feel more like yourself.
