Therapy That Understands Where You Come From
Salonia Singh Therapy and Associates is a group therapy practice founded on a simple belief: the best therapy happens when you do not have to translate your world for your therapist. We are a team of diverse, highly trained clinicians based in West Los Angeles and Pasadena, California, with a deep commitment to culturally competent, evidence-based care.
Who We Are
.Our practice was founded by Salonia Singh, a South Asian therapist, first generation immigrant, and LMFT who saw a significant gap in mental health care for South Asian and BIPOC communities in Los Angeles. She built this practice to fill that gap, to create a space where clients from diverse backgrounds could access high-quality therapy with clinicians who genuinely understand their cultural context.
Today, our team includes therapists from diverse backgrounds trained in EMDR, Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, IFS, and psychodynamic approaches. We work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, identity, career transitions, and trauma.
Our Values
Culturally Informed Care: We do not require you to explain your culture before we can help you. We understand the nuances of South Asian family systems, bicultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and immigrant experiences.
Evidence-Based Methods: Our therapists are trained in the most effective, research-backed modalities: EMDR, Gottman Method, EFT, IFS, and psychodynamic therapy.
Warm but Direct: We create safe, compassionate spaces, and we also challenge you. Real growth requires both.
A Team Approach: As a group practice, we match each client with the therapist who is genuinely the right fit, not just whoever has availability.
